Mmmmm... the G5s are sexy...

havn't heard yet? checkout the one I'm looking at and keep in mind that there is only the monitor and a keyboard - no box. The computer is in a widescreen monitor (i'd go for the 20").

Aside from that, it comes with the latest and greatest OSX - the best commercial desktop OS I've seen. (a general review)

I'm less familiar with Macs than I am with any other computer OS (except BSD) - but I'm been nothing but impressed with them for a while and it may well be time for me to go the way of 8% (or whatever the percentage of Mac users out there is)...

I will keep all my windows systems and linux systems (what, are you crazy?) but I bet, once i get used to the Mac, i will start using it as a primary system.... once i get it.

expected time of purchase - this fall or winter, depending on finances and the Japan trip.
